Happy Birthday, Clint!

My babe turned 30 on Sunday, and here's why I love him:
1.he's hot. i mean really hot 2.he is handy w/ pretty much everything, especially wood work 3.he is a kid, not just at heart either. anytime we go to bj and katherine's, who live maybe a two minute walk away, he pulls out his roller-blades and blades over 4.he is the best daddy in the world. the minute he gets home from work, sage jumps out of my arms into his. she absolutely loves him 5.he compliments my cooking, every single night. even if it's a box dinner or left-overs, he acts like it's the best gourmet meal he's ever had 6. he is a hard worker. he works long hours and is always thinking of ways to help others at work and make everything more efficient. when we first got married we only had one car, so he would ride his bike all over town with his tool belt on his waist, ready to work 7. he loves the gospel and his Heavenly Father. he does his callings well and wakes me up every single morning at 4:30am to say prayers 8. he loves to give service. he'll drop what he's doing and help someone in need, no questions asked 9. he loves his family. i don't think i've ever heard him talk to his brother or parents without hearing him tell them he loves them 10. after almost four years of steady training, he has learned to be very frugal with his money. the other day his grandma sent him a birthday card with ten dollars inside. he read the card and handed me the money, telling me to put it towards our bills. i laughed and told him to splurge a little and spend the ten dollars on himself 11. he's got the best dimples, the thickest curliest hair that i am praying our children get, and he's hot 12. he apologizes after he burps or passes gas. he knows how much i hate it (i think b/c of how often my brothers and dad do it....) and will go in the other room if he has time so i don't have to hear it 13. he is always the first to apologize when we argue. even if it's my hormones causing the argument 14. he loves the outdoors. he would rather be outside riding his bike or playing in the dirt than anywhere inside 15. he served an honorable mission in australia and has promised to take me there one day 16. he is always looking for ways to make money and get out of debt 17. he always points out the good in people. it's rare that i hear him talk bad about someone 18. he is the nicest driver, almost to a fault. it pretty much drives me crazy but i love it about him. he will wait forever for someone to turn before him, even if it's his turn 19. he is always thinking about our future and how to be prepared for things 20. he hates when i stress about things. i am almost always stressing about money, and he is constantly reminding me that we are blessed and have what we need 21. he has manly feet. this one is strange, i know. his feet are on the small side, but they are all cut up and calloused. men aren't supposed to have soft feet, and he sure as heck doesn't. if he's barefoot and moves his feet on my bedspread, it pretty much rips the bedspread 22. he's got the sexiest legs of any man alive. no joke, and you should see his butt-it's even better 23. he thinks (or at least says) i'm pretty all the time. even if my hair is greasy, i haven't washed my face and i'm in old sweats, he still says i'm pretty 24. he is always thinking about me. especially when i'm pregnant. he always asks how i'm feeling and if i need anything. when we go out to eat, it's always my choice 25. he is genuine and honest. he never lies and is always sincere. he doesn't think bad thoughts (the way i sometimes do...) about people and is always friendly 26. he is super shy. usually this drives me crazy, b/c it makes people think he doesn't like them b/c he's not the most social butterfly around, but it is endearing. he gets nervous in groups and is still shy around my family 27. he supports me in everything i do. when i told him i wanted to run a marathon, we worked out a schedule so he could babysit during my long runs. he would postpone his bike rides so i could run. when i told him i wanted to start a boot camp, he helped me advertise and takes care of sage while i'm gone. when i told him i wanted to write a novel, he told me to get busy and do it. when i told him i wanted to learn how to play the piano, he bought me a keyboard to practice on. see? he supports me in everything 28. he was worthy to take me to the temple when we got married and is worthy to take me there today 29. he cares about other people. even people he's never met. we went to tithing settlement a month ago and he got very emotional with the bishop, b/c he was so worried about other people in the ward. he wanted to know how he could help all of them 30. he loves me, and i'm not totally sure why. i can be a real B and he puts up with it 100% of the time.
