Charlotte is 18 months old today. Crazy! My little gals are growing up way way too fast for me. I usually don't do the well-check up appointments past the first few months, but I needed to take her in for something else and decided to combine the two. She is finally growing and putting some meat on her little bones. She is
19 lbs 10 oz--17%
31 1/2 inches long--41%
18 things I love about my little 18 month old:
18 her teeny tiny hands and feet
17 her teeth! they are almost all in and are so cute.
16 the way she runs. her butt totally sways back and forth and she is a major hip shaker.
15 how she loves to get her hair done. the second I put her headband/bow on each morning, she leans super far forward towards me with a huge grin on her face until I cup her cheeks in my hands and say, "so pretty!!!" she also loves her sunglasses and wears them all the time.

14 the way she copies everything Sage does. she even tries to dance like her. so cute.
13 the way she talks. she says, {mom, daddy, grumpa, gamma, nuk (milk), ball, buk (book), dog, no, tank you (thank you), and what's dat (what's that} she's got the squeakiest sweetest little voice.
12 the way she works the camera! she is a major "cheese"-er when the camera is out.
11 how snuggly she is. no matter what time of day it is she will always snuggle with me. she loves to put her head right up under my chin and she fits so perfectly in my neck.
10 how much she loves story time. both my girls love love love books. we read stories every morning and night and she sits so still on my lap while I read. sometimes she'll point to something and say, "what's dat?" over and over again until I stop to answer her question. when I put the books away she throws a mini tantrum and signs "more" until I agree to read one more.
9 how excited she gets over little things like bath time and balloons. she squeals and smiles so big and gets the happiest look on her face that just melts me.
8 how independent she is. she is my "let-me-do-it-on-my-own" child. she is all up in everyone's business at church, wandering the aisles and peeking in purses, like they are all hers. she pretty much has no boundaries at church. I used to think we were such great parents because Sage sits so still on our laps at church. HA. different personalities is all that is.
7 i love that she will sit so still on our lap to watch tv. she watches wheel of fortune and the news with clint when he's home early enough and gets totally absorbed in what's on. last night she sat on the couch covered up with a blanket, sucking on her fingers, all by herself watching the news. strange child.
6 her tantrums! this can obviously be annoying, but this girl is all about the drama and it kills me. if she doesn't get her way, she throws herself on the floor, face down, and wails. she looks up every few minutes to make sure you're watching, too.
5 how she is an extreme creature of habit. for example: at the grocery store? first thing she does is reach for the gold fish out of my purse so she can have her snack while shopping.
4 how timid she is going down the stairs or down a hill. our neighborhood park has a huge (to her) hill. every time she starts to walk down it, she turns around backwards and very very slowly crawls down it. it's hilarious.
3 the way she puts her fingers under the door of the bathroom when clint or I are going potty. she slides them under and wiggles them until we let her in.
2 how happy she is. 98% of the time, she is the happiest, smiliest, most easy-going kid around.
1 her curiosity. she loves to figure things out on her own and always wants to be "in" on whatever is going on.
Happy 18 months, Charlotte!

You don't take the girls to their well checks after the 1st few months? Don't they have to get shots? I wish E would sit still on the couch & watch tv!
Such a cutie, but she is still tiny.
She is so precious and tiny!
Can't believe she is 18 months already! Love this age!!! Isn't it funny how different two siblings can be??
Funny, Madden sticks his fingers under the bathroom door whenever we are in there too ;) ha ha!
